Hello Fab Library Friends!

I'm working on drafting some guidelines around how frequently our Web site should be updated.

At my Library we have a huge site, and I have drawn up a site map and assigned each page to a specific Department to update. Now I need to tell them how often to do it!

I'm thinking that there is a *wide* variety of info -- some is very stagnant, like Library addresses and policies -- and some is very timely, like "new and upcoming books" and program info. So, I think I'm going to suggest that every page should at least be *looked at* once a month...

Anyway...does your Library have guidelines re web site updating that you would be so kind as to share with me? Also any other thoughts/ideas would be most welcome as well.
