I've recently started a new blog dealing mainly with public library issues. It's very new, but I think it will go well. In time, I hope to have many posts (and comments) dealing with a variety of issues affecting public libraries. The name of the blog is "Library Board Matters" (http://libraryboardmatters.ca ) The "Welcome" category explains what I hope to achieve with this blog. Most posts so far are in the "Training and Conferences" category. They relate to the sessions I attended at 2009 SuperConference. Library board trustees are woefully under-represented at SuperConference, so hopefully the blog and these posts will encourage more trustee participation at next year's conference. Finally, as a volunteer website coordinator with the Ontario Library Boards Association, I visit many, many library websites. Many are fine, but many could be better!
