Contribute to the development of engaged, educated, informed citizens

Would creating library staff specific marketing materials help create awareness? Should there be more local workshops for library staff on the resources from the vendors? What about some free RO hosted webinars?

Our public libraries have made great strides in the past 10 years through out public access to the Internet computers that we house. It has been a steep learning curve for staff and public alike but even in the rural areas where Middlesex County Library operates, the Internet is considered part of our library services. But now we are challenged with making the Internet and its vast resources, more useful to our residents and our communities. KO has greatly boosted the content now available through the licensed databases. But it is really difficult to get the public (and our staff) to know about and use these resources.
