Connect communities, share knowledge and best practices

This theme focuses on capacity and skill building initiatives including ways of supporting knowledge exchange networks and dissemination of best practices, as well as self-organising knowledge such as crowd-sourcing.

Sharing Best Practices

As different libraries begin creating their own marketing, training and related resources to KO projects, it will be nice to share them across sectors.

connecting communities; sharing best practices

The KO project provides a wonderful way to connect across all types of libraries within Ontario. We have had this previously by the implementation many years ago of the OLA Superconference where library professionals mingled and attended and planned sessions at one big conference. Now we have through KO, new links forming between universities, colleges, school boards, the broader cultural community, public libraries as best practices are developed, common themes and interests worked on and content linked and shared.
