For those of you who are counting, you now know that I can't. I am not sure why I have three notes labeled 11, but if you do count up, then yesterday was note 13, which is fitting considering the type of day I had.
I just finished a paper for my most difficult class. Difficult in that it is challenging, the prof is exacting, and it has been a long time since I engaged in purely academic talk on a theoretical level. That said, I am satisfied with my paper, and so, even if the prof is less than impressed, I am at peace. Sometimes it is wonderful being a mature student and having all of that angst wash over you. I have enough to worry about.
In doing the research for this particular assignment, I listened to Clay Shirky [1]on TED. I found it very inspiring and enlightening (and in a small way, relevant to my research, so I can justify the use of my time), so I am including it for anyone who wants to while away 15 minutes and 48 seconds. I just love the exactness of the videos posted online. You know exactly how much time you are dedicating to the endeavour before you begin.
Cheers,
Peggy
