Education is major pillar that builds a nation and plays an important role in the progress and development of the country. The importance of an educational system can be understood that all the progressed countries of the world have a higher rate of literacy. Education creates awareness and brings a reform in the thinking of a human being. Lagos being a well developed and a populous city of Africa is also focusing more and more to increase the literacy rate and for this purpose the local and the federal govt. both are putting their efforts to increase this literacy rate through out the country. Thousands of students of Lagos who are studying abroad travel back to their homes, book some of the available cheap flights to Lagos Nigeria.

The educational level in Lagos is phased on four major elementary levels which reflects that the govt. of Lagos is concerned about the literacy rates and to increase it more rapidly. These four educational levels are as follows;

Primary Level – six years education
Junior Secondary School Level – three years education
Senior Secondary School Level – three years education
University Level – four years education

The primary and secondary level of education is a reflector of the overall interest in education and the percentage of literacy is not too much to appreciate but the continuous efforts of govt. is making this gap closer and closer to the required target. The secondary level of education has an option that most of the students can choose to opt for the concerned subjects among some of the major subjects being taught in Nigeria. Most of the Nigerian families who want to go for a day’s excursion during their summer vacations travel to different destinations of the world and on their return they search for the available cheap flight to Lagos Nigeria [1] and also for other major destinations of Nigeria.
